Q&A WITH MATTHEW MANCINELLI

Interviewer: Popcorn Peter

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – May 3, 2022 – Popcorn Peter, 4KUniverse’s “Mickey Mouse”, interviews 4KUniverse Founder Matthew Mancinelli. Popcorn Peter is an anthropomorphic piece of popcorn. He is a boy. He likes popcorn with extra butter!

Popcorn Peter:

Hi Matthew! I am so excited to be interviewing you on this sunny Southern California day. Thank you for joining me.

Matthew Mancinelli:

Thank you for having me, Popcorn Peter. I’m happy to be here with you today.

Popcorn Peter:

Matthew, can we please start with the ABC’s?!

Matthew Mancinelli:

I don’t see why not, Popcorn Peter.

Popcorn Peter:

Popcorn Peter:

W X Y Z!

Matthew Mancinelli:

That was great. I’m glad we kicked off the interview with the ABC’s.

Popcorn Peter:

Let’s start with the Comcast announcement yesterday. Big news! My friends are going cartoon wild!

Matthew Mancinelli:

Yes, it’s very big news. Comcast customers are in for a real treat.

And I grew up in and around Boston – we always had Comcast. It’s the crème de la crème. My big family are all back there waiting to watch 4KUniverse in crystal clear 4K resolution.

Popcorn Peter:

Wow! I’m so excited! Wait a minute Matthew, does this mean I’m going to be famous?!

Matthew Mancinelli:

Extremely

Popcorn Peter:

Oh my, I can’t wait! And what about Candy Cassie, Dee Dee, Big Bear Billy Billy and the rest of my friends?

Matthew Mancinelli:

They’re like your entourage. They come along with you to help you on your Hero’s journey.

Popcorn Peter:

What makes 4KUniverse special and why should one become a subscriber?

Matthew Mancinelli:

Well, 4KUniverse is special, because at its core it’s spreading a simple, yet powerful message of “Love, Light and Magic.” It’s in our DNA. On the technical side, 4KUniverse pushes the boundaries of color, resolution, contrast, and brightness to make your 4K TV perform how it was made to perform.

Popcorn Peter:

I read that about half of the U.S. population now owns a 4K TV.

Matthew Mancinelli

That’s right. Perhaps closer to 60% at this point.

Popcorn Peter:

Haven’t some sports leagues broadcast in 4K already?

Matthew Mancinelli

Yes, some leagues have broadcast in 4K in a limited fashion and I tip my hat to their ingenuity. Some events have been native 4K like NBC's Tokyo and Beijing Olympics as well as ESPN's College Football National Championship game. Other events are not native 4K. By the time the picture gets to your TV, it’s down converted to 1080p. Or the broadcast upconverts 1080p to 4K. Upconverting to 4K pales in comparison to native 4K as seen on 4KUniverse. We use 4K cameras during production. So, when 4KUniverse launches its 4K streaming service followed by the expansion of our 4K cable channel, the subscriber will enjoy native 4K 24-hours a day – something that does not exist in America today.

Popcorn Peter:

You really know your stuff, Matthew! Now, let me ask you about the 4K content. What can audiences expect?

Matthew Mancinelli

Audiences will get to enjoy 4K resolution TV series, movies, documentaries, specials, and kid’s content. We’re launching with a bunch of high quality 4K content, and we will then schedule weekly episode releases.

Popcorn Peter:

So 4KUniverse will drop a new episode weekly? What about the ability to just binge watch an entire season of a show at once?

Matthew Mancinelli

There will be complete seasons of shows that you can binge watch as well as shows that release episodes weekly.

Popcorn Peter:

What’s in store for the future of 4KUniverse as an entertainment hub?

Matthew Mancinelli

We’re developing everything from our own Theme Park, a movie studio, cartoon character plush toys, character meet & greets, a global tour, NFTs, and more. One of the exciting things about 4KUniverse is in its V.I.P. subscription, called ‘Chief of Staff Access.’ We minted 10,000 NFT cards on the blockchain. So, at any given moment there are only 10,000 4KUniverse V.I.P’s worldwide who get to enjoy all the perks, exclusive access, and merch discounts.

Popcorn Peter:

That’s amazing! How much is each Chief of Staff Access NFT card?

Matthew Mancinelli

.5 ETH (Ethereum). Readers can buy one right now on OpenSea.

Popcorn Peter:

Oooo Chief of Staff Access NFT card! You heard it here people, become a card holder before they sell out!

Matthew Mancinelli

Yes, 10,000 Chief of Staff Access NFT cards and we have one program above that called Chief of Staff Access Platinum Card. There will only be 25 card holders worldwide, in perpetuity. It’s a status symbol.

Popcorn Peter:

At what price point is the 4KUniverse streaming service launching with?

Matthew Mancinelli

$10/month.

Popcorn Peter:

Matthew, one last question and I really appreciate your time. I know you’re a busy Hollywood executive. Where do you see 4KUniverse in 10 years?

Matthew Mancinelli

That’s a great question, Popcorn Peter. Hmmm, let me think. In 10 years, 4KUniverse’s cinematic universe called 4KUniverse Multiverse will have established itself in pop culture. That’s what I think. And to tie everything together, the main Hollywood blockbuster ‘King Matthew’ franchise will release 5 movies theatrically starting in the 2030’s. We are laying the foundation for that franchise now. It will be as epic as Star Wars and Harry Potter.

Popcorn Peter:

Thank you so much, Matthew! We are all very excited for 4KUniverse on Comcast and everything else going on at the studio. Thank you!

Matthew Mancinelli

Thank you, Popcorn Peter. That was fun. It was my pleasure. See you all again soon.
