Established songwriting/production duo and best friends Courtney Fortune and Alex Nahai have made the decision to emerge as an alt/pop band. Because of the wildly unexpected buzz surrounding their first unreleased single, their manager has set up a showcase performance for friends, press and major industry influencers. Only thing is, it’s in six weeks. As they scramble to write songs, build their show, and develop their musical vision, tensions rise under the pressure and Courtney grapples with the idea of taking the stage as a pop performer, while Alex relentlessly drives the project forward.
The new 4KUNIVERSE show offers audiences a window into the music business in 2017 in a way that hasn't been done since “Gimme Shelter” or “The Last Waltz.”
As the two main characters work tirelessly toward a common goal, viewers will get to experience a raw, real-life look into launching a successful band and all of the emotions, conflicts, and victories that come with it.
